First entry - Back in action

After much contemplation, I have decided to start blogging again. Deleted the old blog and created this current blog using my name as the domain! The reason why I chose to blog again is for keepsake. Try as I may, I shall blog as often as I can. Without further ado, I shall kick-start my first entry!

Boyfriend & I were invited to a church wedding on 21 September 2013, Saturday. I was pretty excited as it was our very first time attending such event together! The bride, Kerwai, was my ex-colleague from T32 Dental Centre who had just converted to Catholic earlier this year. The ceremony was held at Saint Joseph Church, Upper Bukit Timah.

Well, this pretty much summed up the first part of the wedding in the day. Back home for a really short nap before boyfriend & I got up to prepare. Left home at around four-thirty and headed to church service. As we usually attend the weekly mass at Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, which starts at 6pm and ends an hour later, we were afraid that we might be late for the wedding dinner. Hence, we drove over to Church of the Holy Cross and attended the mass at 5pm instead.
The wedding dinner was held at SAFRA Mount Faber - Summer Garden Restaurant. I was looking forward to seeing the bunch of 'long-time-no-see' crazy girlfriends as they used to be my best colleagues ever! Upon seeing one another, we just grabbed each another & went snapping away!

Last but not least, presenting my dearest boyfriend <3

It was an awesome night! Seated with the favourite people, doing lots of catching-up, devouring the delish dishes as we come to witness Aloysius & Kerwai becoming husband & wife! I simply love attending weddings! Apart from being able to feast, I personally think that the joyous occasion marks a very important milestone in life, when two singles come together as one, to enter into another phase of life.  It is also a celebration of love; their fruit of labour! Once again, bountiful blessings to the loving couple as we look forward to hearing good news from them in time to come ;-)
